STATEMENT OF FAITH

Creation: We believe in a literal six day creation as God States in His Word. (Genesis 1:1-4; John 1:1-4)

Inspiration of the Bible: We believe that the entire Bible is without mistake, is the complete Word of God, and is the supreme and final authority on all matters, faith and conduct. (Romans 10:17; 2 Timothy 3:16,17)

The Trinity: We believe in one God, eternally existing as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19; 1 John 5:7)

God the Father: We believe that God is a spirit: Omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent. (Genesis 1:1; John 4:24)

God the Son: We believe that Jesus is God manifested in the flesh, born of a virgin, sinless in His life, perfect in His death, burial, resurrection, and ascension. (Luke 1:27; John 1:12; John 10:30)

God the Holy Spirit: We believe the Holy Spirit is God and that He convicts a sinner, comes into a person at the moment of salvation, then indwells, guides and directs a believer. (John 16:7-15; Ephesians 1:13; Ephesian 4:30)

Satan: We believe Satan is the fallen angel Lucifer and is now the unholy god and deceiver of this age, the author of all sin. (Job 1:6-7; 2 Corinthians 4:4)

Fall of Man: We believe that man was created in the image of God but, by willful transgression, became sinful and is justly under the condemnation and wrath of God. (Genesis 1:27; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12)

Salvation of Sinners: We believe that salvation is only by grace; man cannot save himself. It is only receiving the Lord Jesus Christ by faith alone into our hearts. This free gift was made possible by Christi's blood which He shed for us and is available to anyone who believes. (Romans 5:8; Romans 10:13; Ephesians 2:8)

Security of the Believer: We believe that we receive Christ one time and that we are eternally secure. We will never lose our salvation and are sealed until the day of redemption. (John 10:28-29; Ephesians 4:30)

Eternity Destiny of Man: We believe that heaven and hell are literal places and that everyone who has rejected Christ will suffer in hell eternally; and everyone who has accepted Christ will live eternally with the Lord in Heaven. (John 3:36; 1 Corinthians 15:51-57; 2 Corinthians 5:8; Revelations 20:11-15)

The Church: We believe in the universal church, the Body of Christ, of which all believers are members. We also believe that the legacy which Christ left us in the local church made up of committed believers, baptized by immersion, and practicing and observing New Testament principles and doctrines. The main responsibility of the local church is to evangelize and disciple. The two Ordinances of the local assembly are Believers Baptism by immersion (the picture of the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ) and the Lord's Supper (a symbol of death of Christ for our sins). (Acts 1:8; Acts 2:41-47; Acts 13:2-4; Romans 6:4,5; 1 Corinthians 11:23-32; Colossians 1:18)

The Second Coming of Christ: We believe that Jesus Christ is coming again and that the rapture of the church will take place before the tribulation. (1 Thessalonians 4:15-17)
